Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using the Pillwise mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Pillwise is a medication tracking application that helps users:
- Track medication schedules and intake
- Receive reminders to take medications
- Monitor adherence over time
- Share medication reports with healthcare providers
- Allow caregivers to monitor medication adherence

IMPORTANT: Pillwise is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice.

• The App is a personal organizational tool only
• Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice
• Never make medical decisions based solely on this App
• Do not use the App as a substitute for professional medical care
• In case of medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately

You must be at least 18 years old to use Pillwise. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Minors may use the App only under direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@pillwise.app
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms

6.1 Free Plan:
- Limited to 3 medications
- Basic tracking and reminders
- No access to premium features

6.2 Premium Plan ($4.99/month):
- Unlimited medications
- Doctor share links
- PDF reports
- Caregiver mode
- Priority support

6.3 Billing:
- Subscriptions are billed monthly through Apple App Store or Google Play
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal
- To cancel, manage your subscription in your device's App Store settings
- No refunds for partial subscription periods unless required by law

By inviting a caregiver:
- You consent to sharing your medication data with that person
- You can revoke caregiver access at any time
- Caregivers may not use your data for any purpose other than monitoring your medication adherence

You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Enter false or misleading health information
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Reverse engineer or modify the App
- Use the App to harm yourself or others

All content, features, and functionality of Pillwise are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data or health outcomes resulting from App use
- Errors or inaccuracies in medication tracking
- Service interruptions or technical failures

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pillwise from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Delete Account.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of Ukraine.

We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via push notification or email. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
